hoop jam at the Danforth - a short teaser

I was invited by my partner in crime, Ish, to check out a hoop jam at the Danforth. It's a massive congregation of people, young and old, who are getting some fresh air and exercise in the park. For me, hoola hooping conjured images of me struggling to keep up a bright plastic ring when I was five years old, and then got distracted by the ice cream truck. But this really changed my view about a sense of community in Toronto, and living well. A big thank you to my friend Ish, and the lovely people I met at the hoop jam for showing me a good time.
