I love walking into the Allen Gardens because it's like a Secret Garden in the middle of downtown Toronto. I walked through the white doors, and noted an elderly couple sitting together in the central area. When I left after an hour passed, they were still sitting together quite content like time didn't pass.
In the central area, there are two doorways that leads you down a corridor of plants:
A beautiful koi pond at the end of the 'lush' corridor:
Of course, there are stunning plants and planters:
Outside, the Gardens is connected to a dog park and a church. It's all easy to miss, but it's just as beautiful.
The visit was lovely but always too short. Until next season...
